Point of Care Fact.

WARNING! Did you know the current infant heel stick method of drawing blood is by pinching the baby's foot back to its shin?  This method must stop immediately. We have the POC technique to correctly perform this procedure and prevent unnecessary injuries to the infant and damage to the collected blood sample.

venicuff revealed!  VEIN ACCESS TECHNOLOGIES ANNOUNCES NEW VENICUFF MEDICAL TOOL FOR BLOOD DRAW AND COLLECTION PROCEDURES

Picture
veniCUFF REVEALED! It's finally here and we are excited to announce the TOURNIQUET REPLACEMENT for all blood collection procedures! NO MORE RUBBER HOSE AND A THUMP!

The new veniCUFF and GENTLE TOUCH will prevent vein damage and rupture by eliminating the tourniquet side affect known as "over distention" of the vein. The proto-type veniCUFF shown in the photo [left] will debut in November in Chicago, IL. This new tool will be available for patient purchase as well as wholesale to clinics, hospitals and labs.

Although not required, the veniCUFF works at its full potential when used with the advanced blood draw technique, the 21cVA method.

Both tool technology (veniCUFF) and technique (21cVA) vein access advancement in the blood draw/collection/IV/IOC procedures has been over twenty years in the making.  M. Gail Stotler, founder of Vein Access Technologies,  will be introducing the veniCUFF proto-type at upcoming seminars and tradeshows.  See for yourself how it will change the future of vein access procedures.

Please feel free to share the veniCUFF information with family and friends. The next generation of vein access has definitely arrived!

AWESOME! I am very excited about this as I am a very hard person to get blood or IV's started. How do you tell you doctor what to do and how to do it?

@ReneHorn - The solution is quite simple but must be requested from the patient. Have your physician write your blood draw order that the blood draw and/or IV be performed per the 21cVA technique. If a patient requests this, they have to perform that blood test per that specific technique. If no one at your clinic or hospital has been VAT certified in the 21cVA technique, then they would have to refer you to The Nurses' Station in E. Alton, IL. As far as the veniCUFF, a patient will be able to take their own veniCUFF in and demand that it be used in the place of the tourniquet. That is your patient right. veniCUFFs' will be available for patient purchase very soon.
